Voroneț Monastery

Located within the territory of Gura Humorului, approximately 4 km from the town centre, Voroneț Monastery is one of Bucovina’s most important historic landmarks. Founded by Stephen the Great, it is renowned for its exterior frescoes and distinctive “Voroneț Blue”. The Church of St George forms part of the UNESCO-listed Churches of Moldavia.

Winter in Gura Humorului
